Random: just talk

These Japanese fabrics are so special to me. The story is from Green Gables. This is the first story movie Stella watched when she was a little girl. She didn't understand most of the words at the time, but now she picks up the words from the story.  I haven't decided what to make, but these would be save till someday for some special project.   Do you have any special fabric that have been save up? Do you have any plans for them?

  1. It reminds me of the art of Hayao Miyazaki. I love that movie so much. Anne of Green Gables is still one of my favorites. I have quite a few fabrics like this. I just cut into some of it with my latest project. Feels good to finally see it turning into something even more special. Can't wait to see what you make with this.

  2. Oh! I am a huge Fan of Hayao Miyazaki!! I watched all his movies and have all the dvds. I love how dramatic Anne sounds like in the dvd! I also treasure their friendship as they grew up together. I wanted to make a dress for my little girl, but I only have 1/2 yard of each print. I might still make a dress for her, but use some of these print for accent color to the dress. xo
